The Minister for Lands told a Deputation of Wellington residents, who protested against a provision for compelling streets in suberban districts to be formed a chain in width. The Mildura is coming over to complete the survey of the coasts which was begun by the Penguin, as a result of representations made by the Premier to the Imperial Government some two years ago. The colony pays half the cost of the survey.
