THE ATTEMPTED ABORTION CASE.

Christchurch, July 23. The case against Nellie Maud Brewer, of using instruments on Bertha Light, with intent to procure miscarriage was adjourned till the afternoon. After evidence had been taken the Magistrate wishing to consider the point raised said that there was no case against the accused. Walter Brewer, on a similar charge was committed for trial.
