London, July 23. The Duke of Cambridge on behalf of the King, opened the International Confress at London to discuss tuberculosis, ’oreign Governments and the Colonies are represented.

Lord Lansdowne said that Government would faqjlitate the labors of the Confress to the utmost. Great Britain has een passing through all the anxiety and .sorrow of prolonged war, but no war brought anything like the burden of a misfortune of tuberculosis.

Lord Liston delivered a speech and said he was hopeful of the results of the Congress.
