THE ROYAL VISIT.
[by ELECTEIC TEIiBGEAPH —COPYEIGHT.] (PEE PEESS ASSOCIATION.) Peeth, July 22. . The Governor and Ministers officially welcomed their Royalties this forenoon. There was a procession, gaily decorated and densely crowded streets from the railway station to the Town Hall. The Mayor presented an address of welcome, and afterwards their Highnesses viewed the Friendly Societies and the Chinese and Afghans’ procession.
To-night the city was brilliantly illuminated. The display was imposing and the enthusiasm unbounded.
