A meeting of over-sea and interstate shippers, called to discuss the Interstate Commission Bill introduced iu the Federal Parliament, resolved to protest against the Bill so far as. it refers to traffic. The proposed legislation is condemned as an interference with private enterprise, and is calculated to operate against trade and is getting beyond the province of any legislation that should be contemplated by the Commonwealth.
