Tennent, who fills the office of I.P.M. for the ensuing term received unanimous congratulations on the way the Lodge workings were conducted while under his care. The Lodge being closed the brethern assembled < n fete to do justice to the sumptuous repast prepared to do honor to their high installed Brother, and needless to say they carried it out to the letter amidst the infusion of happinness that accompanies brethern of tire mystic tie. In responding to the toast of the "District Grand Master," Bro. John Bevan, in a capital speech, noted for its beautiful language and spleidid oration, dealt upon Masonry and it 3 teachings, and coming from one such as he with 40 long years of experience, kept the brethern spell bound, never before, which is saying a lot, has ho been heard to better advantage upon this grand and illustrous subject. The assemblage dispersed, but not before one and all had conferred congratulations upon their worthily chosen W.M.
