NEW SOUTH WALES ELECTIONS.

Sydney, July 3. The S'a'e elections wore devoid of excitemant. The feature, as far as the returns lot the city and suburbs are concerned, is the success of the Labor party. The Ministerialists or Progressives secured 5; Labor 4; and Liberals 2 seats in the city eL ctorate3, bu tb.3 Liberals scored heavily over the Progressives in tho suburbs. Labor obtained 6 out of 27 suburbban seats.
The country H tarns are not sufficiently sdvanced to give the state of parties. - The approximate state ot parties is— Progressives 27, Liberals 33, Labor 15, In dependants 13. The surprise in the city clestiona was the defeat of Sir Jamo3 Graham by Eden Gcofge. Another surprise was the fall of exPremier Keid's constituency into the hands of the Ministry.
Amongst the re-elections are M'Gowan (Labor leader), Waddell (Treasurer), Cann (Chairman of Committees), See Pan O'Connor and Carruthers,
