The Napier Park Eacing Club's Winter mooting commenced to-day in fine weaiher; there was a large attendance and good racing. £5381 was put through the totalisator. The following aro the results :
" Stewards Stakes Handicap—Goyt, 1; Bubin, 2; Robin Adair, 3. Won by a length in 2min 17secs. Div £6 17s. Hunter Handicap Steeplechase— K Jam l;Cronje, 2; The Infant, 3. Won comfortably in 4min 42secs. Div £3. Handicap Hurdles—Evening Wonder. 1; Hautonga, 2; Social Pest, 3. Won by four lengths in 3min 51socs. Div £i 9s. Settlors Hack Handicap—Tirea, 1; Assayer, 2; Cobra, 3. Won comfortably in 2min 2secs. Div £7 7s.

Napier, This Day. The weather is threatening and bitterly cold. The attendance at the races is fair. The following are the events [concluded before going to press :
