There have been seventeen deaths from sunstroke, six suicides, and numerous cases of insanity. Steamer Sinks —All Rescued. The steamer Mohawk, with 900 excursionists, struck a rock at Glen Island and sank in 20 minutes. A terrible panic ensued, hut the shallowness of the water enabled all to be rescued. Most of the hotels in Berlin flow the tricolor.
Fournier occasionally travelled 75 miles an hour, and had an average of 46. The Panhard motors wore second and third.
