THE MOKAU COAL-FIELDS.
(PBB PEEBB ASSOCIATION.)
Wangangi, This Day.
An old miner, who has just returned from an exploitation of the Mokau coalfield, finds it to be of a greater extent than was expected.
He thinks when it is geologically surveyed it will be found to be of greater area than any other coal-field in the colony. A Sydney syndicate has leased four thousand acres of it, and purposes opening a depot at Wanganui.
