THE ROYAL VISIT.
[per press association] Rotorua, This Day. The weather was fine with clear sky and warm after the heavy rain all night. The Waiotapu trip is abandoned. The Royalties visited the sanatorium and opened the new baths which are called “Cornwall.”
There was a great assemblage of natives.
The party subsequently visited the old Ohinemutu settlement and drove to the Whakarewarewa geyser and carved house.
In the afternoon they are to cross the lake in a launch and visit Tikere,
