John Morley speaking at Brechin last night explained that half the income from Carnegies gift to the Scottish Universities will be expended in strengthening the faculties for science, medicine, histroy, modern languages and literature. The remainder of the income will be devoted to the payment of ordinary class tees of Scottish Students and extending Lectureships to evening classes outside the Universities.
