Harry May, the head of a large confectionciy business in Daufdin, wn? found drowned in St. Clair Baths. He left home last -night stating ho was going up country, For some time ho has suffered from insomnia and made a trip to Auckland. He leaves a wife and three children.

The Postal Department has been advised that a bag of mails from London for Christchurch and a bag for Wellington was destroyed by fire on the Oruba. Another Case of Liquidation.
