Melbourne, June 4
The Government loan of half a million at a V> per ont minimum fixed at ninetysix was opened to-day. £549,000 was tendered for. Tenders from £9O Is to £97 5s 6d, amounting to 40 per cent, were accepted. The balance was taken at £96 Is.
