The Eoyal Arthur has sailed for Auckland with the Admiral to arrange for the Eoyal landing. Fire on Mail Steamer. Adelaide, June 5.
A fire occurred in the mail room of the Orubn, after leaving Frecmantle. The registered letters for Christchurch were either burned or damaged.
Smallpox.
Perth, June 5.
A constable who was on duty on the Ormuz during his stay in port, has developed smallpox.
