Sib, — I beg to call the attention of the County Council to the bad state in which the road now is at Cobden between the bridge and Hamilton’s Hotel. It is a sea of mud and water, and most inconvenient to Cobden residents and badly requires attention at once. The light too that was to have been erected near the engine shed for the safety of pedestrians at night, should be erected as speedily as possible.—l am, etc., George E. Levien,
