(pis press association—copyright.)
Received this day, at 9 55 a m. Sydney, May 30.
Mulock, the Canadian PostmasterGeneral, in an interview said he was greatly impressed by all that he had witnessed in Australia. The devotion of the people to Britain, and British institutions were everywhere manifested, and furnished ample assurance that they may be relied upon whenever the interests of the Empire required assistance. Their confidence in their country was most gratifying, and the prospects of trade between Australia and Canada were
good. Australians could secure a good market for many of tlieir products. He again strongly endorsed the favourable results of the penny postage.
