The Dunedin Races. Dunedin, May 25. The following are the results of the second day’s races:—
Hurdle Handicap—Vulcan 1, Slumberer 2, Dundee 3. Div £5 16s. Welter-Wild West 1, Spider 2, La Eeine 3. Div £7 10s.
Provincial Handicap—St Denis 1, Hermosa 2, Nihilist and Brisa dead heat 3, Div £2 2s.
Novel Race—Hippomenes 1, Witchcraft 2. Vanilla came in first, but a protest was made and upheld, the stakes being awarded Hippompnes, and the meney on Vanilia returned. Div £3 16s. Wairongoa Handicap—Tzaritsa 1. Div £1 16s.
Hack Race—Ayrdale 1, Div £7 10s. Farewell —Belligerent, div, £1 14s.
