TERRIBLE COLLIERY EXPLOSION.

London, May 24.
At a colliery explosion at Caerphilly, in Wales, 150 miners were entombed. Intense anxiety is felt for their safety.
Three hiiners were rescued from tho Caerphilly mine, and many bodies have been recovered.
The details of the Caerphilly mine disaster show that the majority of the night workers ascended, leaving 70 in the pit. Three explosions' occurred near the upcast shaft. The gangways became choked with the ruins, and the fired amp almost suffocated the first explorers.
Heroic efforts to rescue the entom bed men still continue.
