It is now announced that there is to be no official celebration of the King's birthday on May 24th. The announcement that the law courts would be suspended on that date was a mistake, which arose owing to certain other official announcements. The King's Buck hounds / Lokdon, May 18. The King's buck-hound 3, for which no provision was made in the Civil List, have been presented to Lord Chesham, (commanding the Imperial Yeomanry), and the officers in the Cape Colony.
