GREY MAGISTRATE'S COURT.

Pctrie and Co vS. Scott. Claim for £1 17s for goods supplied. Judgment by default.
J. Blackburn. —Charged with disorderly conduct while drunk ; with using indecent language; breaking a pane of glass, and assaulting S. Gibson. Evidence in support of the charge was given by a railway porter, Constable M'Kenzie and S. Gibson. On the first charge the Magistrate inflicted a fine of 10/- ; on the second convicted and discharged ; on the third ordered to pay cost (7/ii) and lined 1/- ; and on the fourth ordered to pay 12/0 doctors fees, and fined 15/-. .1. Hatchings was charged with keeping a brothel. Judgment was deferred. Four children, aged from six to eleven years old, were brought before the Court charged with throwing stones and mud at a girl. After hearing evidence the Magistrate dismissed the information.
