A boy Killed. Dunedin, May 11. A boy named Gordon Hill was Hilled by the Kaikorai cable tram this afternoon in Albert Street. The little fellow, who was playing on the street, had his head nearly cut off. His father is a butcher on one of the Union Coy’s boats and only went to sea on Friday. Football Championship. At the Championship football match to-day Christchurch beat Sydenham by 17|to 8, Merivale beat Kaiapoi by 15 to 3, Linwood beat Albion by 9 to 3.
