London, May 11. A Eeu er correspondent abates that General Methuen at Binsfontein recaptured the gun taken by the Boers at NUral's Nek.
Four Boers were killed and severa captured. General Grenfell also recaptured another of Nitral’s Nek guns.
General Babington unearthed a Krupp. A detachment of the Tasmanian Bushmen under Lieutenant-Colonel Wallack engaged Scheeper’a commando at Goni.ashock. Three Tasmanians were wounded and one captured,
They re-attacked the next day and expelled the Boers from the position without loss.
Vialls captured 20 of Mathew Protorious’s force and the remainder scattered.
Yialls is now pursuing another commando.
Sydney, May 11
Advices have been received by the agents that the Gulf of Taranto with the New Zealand troops has arrived at Durban all well.
London, May 12.
Lord Kitchener reports that since the 7;h 28 Boers have been killed, six wounded, 130 taken prisoners, and 183 have surrendered. 9000 rounds of small ammunition, 230 wagons, 1500 horses, and large quantities of grain and stock were captured.
