The visit of the Duke and Duchess to Australia, uniform tariff to he brought forward, will indicate what stops will be taken to select the Federal Capital site. Bills will bo introduced for the establishment of a High Court, interstate commission and other machinery measures. Allusion will also be made to the defences, uniformity of postage, reservation of Australian interests in the Pacific islands. A bill conferring the franchise to women, immigration and restriction bill dealing with colored labour, and compulsory arbitration bill.
