Governor of Chelsea Hospital. Becßived this day at 9 18 a. m. . London, April 29. General Sir Henry Norman, formerly Governor of Queensland, has been appointed Governor of the Royal Hospital of Chelsea, in succession to the late Field-Marshal Sir G. Stewart.

London. April 29. The final match for the English Cup, under Association Football rules, was replayed at Bolton between Sheffield United and Tottenham Hotspurs, and was won by the latterRebellion in Algiers. A small rising occurred in South Algiers. A number of Arabs enjoined the Europeans in the village of Marguerite to embrace Islamism, and on their refusal the Arabs attacked the village, killing seven persons and wounding eight. A force of Zouaves suppressed the rebellion, killing sixteen Arabs and capturing sixty. Many Arabs lied. Thej' are now threatening Marengo, forty-miles south-west of Algiers. The promoters of the movement to erect a statue to Queon Victoria in Ireland surrounded by representatives of the Irish regiments have appealed to Irishmen througout the world for funds.
