Fielding, April 27. At the Committee of the Chamber of Commerce last evening, it was decided to protest against the recent increase in fire insurance rates, and to ask (he Chambers of Commerce iu Taranaki andYV ollington provincial districts to join in sending deputations to wait on the Premier to urge that a State Fire Insurance Department be established.
