London, April 10. The Boevs evacuated Eiotcrsinirg the night before Colonel Plumber’s arrival, exploding two trucks full of ammunition.
Two engines and 39 trucks were captured by Lieut. Walker. One private was killed and Lieut. Sale was severely wounded—all Australian Bushmen.
Colonel Plumber at Piotorsburg caplured (50 prisoners and a 7-pounder gun, Ho destroyed 210,000 rounds of small arms, 1000 rounds of big gun ammunition and a considerable quantity oJ powder aud dynamite. Eight Australian Bushmen expelled 40 burghers from Iron Pass, thus capturing the key to Pietershurg.
Two Bushmen were wounded. Colonel Plumcr commended the little party for their gallantry. 400 of Seheeper’s commando on Saturday surrounded 200 Lancers, 1 comanry, and Brabant’s Horse near Aberdeen. 25 escaped, and the rest, after some hours’ fighting, surrendered. There were six British casualties.
