Premier and party present. Miners’ Purse, 7 furlongs —Redwood s Sanfoin 1, Garmoran 2. Skirmisher also started but fell. Popular win, three lengths. Time, 1 11; div £3 ISs. Electric Handicap, (1 furlongs—Petrnline 1, Speculator 2. Only starters. "Won by a length, and something to spare. Time, 122 2-oths; div £1 9s. Transvaal won the Trot.
