JAMES BAIN’S COMEDY COMPANY.
The Great Australian Comique.
To-morrow, Tuesday, at tho Opera House, tho great Australian comoquo and his company will make their first appearanco in Greymouth. Our Northern contemporaries give them volumes of praise, and they are spoken of as being tho most compact company that has toured the Colony for years. Mr Bain has the reputation of being tho “King of Comedians.” He is a comedian of uk questionable talent and versatility, ana his drolleries keeps the audience in continuous merriment. Ho compels laughter, for every trick of voice, gesture, and facial expression is tho embodiment of humour. “One of the cleverest juvenile comedians in the world,” master Claude Sullivan, lias been specially engaged for this tour, and this clever youth is stated to be a whole show in himself. They should bo greeted with an over-flowing house—which the company deserves for it is honestly a real good show, and one that will bo remembered on the West Coast for a long day.
