THE WRECK OF THE FEDERAL

(per press association. —COPYRIGHT.)

Sydney, This Day.

The latest from Gobo Island is that some wooden ships' beams came ashore which could not posibly havo belonged to the Federal.

In some quarters the recovered body is supposed to be that of Hcndersuo, chief oflicer of the Federal; others say that it is the captain of the schooner Hawaiiah Isles, which left Melbourno ten days ago This adds to the possibility of the latter's wreck to other uncertainties. The latter evidence goes to show that the Louisa Lamont is probably not in the vicinity of Gabo.
