GREY ASSESSMENT COURT.

The following objections wore dealt with against the County rating of mining claims. Mr Hannan appeared for the valuer. After a lengthy argument, His Worship uphold the valuer’s basis of valuation in respect of prospecting licenses and special claims, namely, capitalising the annual rental, on the 0 per cent basisThe following valuations on prospecting licenses at £BO each were uphold ; —Lord (3) Morice, Scott (2) Wilson, Tidd, Kitchingham (3), estate 11. Nanoarrow (3) J. A. Petrie (2), Skoglund (2), Harley, A. F. Foote (2), Hood, Gillies, Johnston (4) Oxenliam, Staco (3). Special dredging claims George Gage £GOO, Camerons G. 1). Co. £BOO, Cockeye G. D. Co. £IOOO, N. D. Hood £OOO, J. King £2OO, E. I. Lord £lßl, Kohorangi G. I). Co. £GOO, Leviathan Freehold G. 1). Co. £233, T. W. M’Kenzic £4OO, J. Delaney £GOO, Twelve Mile G. D. Co. £GOO.
