The Campaign in Full Swing.

Received this day at 9 42 a.m. Sydney, This Day.

Last night the Free-traders held a great gathering in tho Town Hall, Reid presiding ; and tho Protectionists held an immense open air gathering. Both meetings were marked with much enthusiasm. Reid and other leaders made strong appeals in favour of free trade, while Barton and R. E. O’Conner made stirring speeches, and confidently predicted victory for the Bartenians. Tho Democratic League also held a demonstration.
