Swine Fever. Received this day, at 10 47 a.m. Sydney', March 27.
The Government has prohibited the importation of swine from New Zealand for twelve months owing to the alleged existence of swine fever. Cycling Dispute.
In reference to the action of the New Zealand Cycling League in refusing to accept the New South Wales League’s entry for the Christchurch meeting, the Secretary for the local League says they will sec they are recognised by the New Zealand League, as the governing body of amateurism in New South Wales or else they will prevent any Australian cash rider ever competing in New Zealand.

Many police and civilians arc searching for the half-caste, Lock, and the girl that ho kidnapped, Rivcrston : they were seen several times to-gsthcr on Monday making in the direction of Penrith and the Blue Mountains. The Federal Commission has finished its enquiries in Sydney for tho present, and embark to-day for Tasmania, afterwards proceeding to Victoria and South Australia. The Chairman of tho Commission rvroto to the Acting-Premier expressing his sincere thanks on behalf of tho Commissioners for placing a convenient office at their disposal and for other courtesies. The Commission expects to bo in Sydney again for a day or two in about three week’s time.
