[Per Press Association.] Wanganui, March 25. When shooting began in the afternoon there was a fierce front wind blowing and only the short range was fired. In the Otago Match of 300yds, 10 shots, Hewlett (Christchurch) won and having put on good score in the Ladies’ Match he wins the Carbine Cup with a acorq of 92, W. Ballinger (Wellington) 2nd with 90.

The following is the prize list in the Otago Match, ten shots, at 300yds:—

Late in the atternon the shooting began again, but only the Belt Match was finished, the chief scores being: Hewlett, Christchurch College Rifles, King, Oamaru, next, W.
