GREY MAGISTRATE’S COURT.

J. M‘Pie v. Gilberton—Claim for £2O 3s 2d for goods supplied. Mr Guinness appeared for the plaintiff and Mr Hannan or the defence.
In this case the dispute was one of partnership of Gilbertson Bros. Plaintiff, in her evidence, stated that the defendants were mates and goods were supplied on joint account, Judgment was accordingly entered up for plaintiff for amount claimed with costs. T. Joyce v. J. Brimble—Judgment summons for £6O for rent on cottage. Mr Hannan appeared for the plaintiff and Mr Guinness for the defence.
James Brimblo gave evidence to t lie nature oE bis fatlier.’s will, and the various deeds connected therewith and property left to him. In examination by Mr. Guinness, he said that, owing to ill health, he could not work for the past seven mouths, G. Moss, one of the executors in the estate of the late James Brimble (senior) gave evidence as to defendant getting the horses and drays. They were sold to him with the consent of Mrs. Brimble. At this stage the Court adjourned to get the evidence of Mrs. Brimblo, senior. Mrs Brimblo’a evidence was somewhat contradictory, and judgment was reserved.
