Six people attended the meeting called by the Mayor to consider tho question of giving a send-off to the Seventh Contingent.
It was decided to request tho public to assemble on the day of departure and endeavour to arrange the speeches to be made. There are at present 545 officers and men in the camp at Newton Park.
