Major Cradock Resigned.
Wellington, This Day
The Premier received by cable advice that Cradock has arrived at Bran fort and that he has resigned the command of the Second Contingent. To Robin he states that he regrets severing his connection with such gallant warriors. The Government has through the Governor asked Kitchener to«convey to Cradock its best thanks for his valuable services to the colony and Empire. London, March 18.
Fouvie quarrelled with De Wei, and his commando lias been broken up. It is reported that Fourie is willing to surrender.
Hutchinson, Governor of Natal, ex r pressed amazement at the sanitary neglect and filth of Capetown.
