French reports an additional 46 Boers were killed and wounded, and 146 made prisoners, 200 rifles, 3700 cartridges, 2,400 horses, 120 mules, 370 trex oxen, 2,500 cattle, and 400 wagons were captured. The weather is still wet.
A fight lasting four hours took place near Kenhardt between 23 of Orpcn’s Horse and 70 Boers. Throe of the enemy were killed or wounded, including Fie’d Cornet Iledelingina, who received fatal injuries. Artillery experts at Gibraltar declare that British guns dominate Spanish guns on the Mainland, thus preventing an effective bombardment of the now harbor at Gibraltar.
