Tho British Legation at Pekin entertained the New South Wales Contingent prior to their departure for Australia.
Satow, the British Minister, warmly thanked them for their admirable services, and remarked that not a single complaint had been made against any one of the New South Wales men.
The Victorians had earned a similarly iglx reputation at Tien Tsin.
