The Maori Murder.

The criminal sittings of the Supreme Court concluded to-day. The jury returned a verdict of "not guilty" in the case of Itawiriri To Au, the Maori, charged with the murder of his wife at Miranda. Tho first shipment of the season's poultry to London under the auspices of the Agricultural Department, will be made by the Aotea sailing to-morrow. ©esleyan Conference. Keall ; Murehison, Kumara and Haveloek each a Home missionary. Tho Wesleyan Conference concluded its sittings to-night. A resolution was passed recommending the introduction •nto Parliament of a Bill to decide, by referendum whether it is the will of the people that thero should be daily Bible readings in schools. The Marvels of Hotorua. Auckland, March 13, The centre of attraction in Rotorua is the great geyser in Rotomahana. Large numbers -<ro visiting it daily and pronounco it the most marvellous sight in the district. An eruption takes place every 40 minutes. On Sunday last there were several narrow escapes from falling stones.
