WESLEYAN CONFERENCE.

Wellington, March 4. The Wesleyan Conference met this morning in ministerial session. It was resolved that the Revs. Wm. Beckett, M. K. Gilmour, B. P, Keall, D. Weatherall, W. Willis, W. Greenslade, J. H. Haslam, A.N. Scotter, W. E. Tuck, and B. Wilson had passed their respective years of probation. The Rev. B. P. Blamires reported as having tr ivelled one year. Be v. A Reader and Rev. W J. Oxbrow were received on probation and fco ap. pointed to circuits. Messrs C. Eaton, B. D. Patohell and Joseph Belton remain in Prince Albert College for farther training. Several candidates for the nrnistry wore orally examined, but consideration of their oases was not concluded when the session closed. The Conference met in representative session in the afternoon. On consideration of the report of tfce committee on the administration of the Church Building and Loan Fund, the question was raised as to the power of tho committee and tho ruling of the President that they had acted within their powers, was carried by 81 to 18 votes. Speeches in support of the existing state of tilings were made by tho Rev J. J. lewis and Dr. Morley, and in support of some suggested alterations in the management of the fund by A. 0, Claughey, of Auckland, further consideration of the subject was then deferred to the next session. In the evening an Ordination Service was held, the candidates being the Eevs. W. S. Bowrie, J. W. Burton, and Hamiora Kingi, the Ordination charge being delivered by the President. R. Cook was (eoeived as a minister on probation.
