Arnett, as agent received money to pay rabbiters which he appropriated, committing forgeries to cover the delinquencies. ‘J he more serious charge of attempting to poison Miln, who was the chief sufiercr by his thefts was postponed till next sitting of tho Court, Arnett was sentenced to three years hard labour.
