At the Supremo Court to-day the Chief Justice made a presentment on behalf of Constable O'Brien, of Waverley for his gallant conduct on the occasion of hi i arrest of Bourns, who attempted to murder a bank clerk named Hickson near Waverley. The grand jury expressed the opinion that a constable who unarmed could follow and arrest a man with a loaded revolver in his possession, was entitled to some recognition.
