ORANGE BLOSSOMS.

A very pretty wedding took place at S% Patrick’s Church on Monday, the contracting parties being Miss M. Lanigan of Greymouth, and Mr Hugh Joseph McConnell, son of Mr J. McConnell, of Westport. Ths bride was given away by her Unole, Mr T. O’Donnell of Greymouth, and looked charming in a handsome white satin dress trimmed with chiffon and orange blossoms, and wore the usual wreath and veil.

The bridegroom was attended by Mr W, Carr, of Westport.

The bridesmaids were Miss O'Donnell and Miss S. O'Donnell cousins of the bride, and Miss McConnell sister of the bridegroom. The chief bridesmaid, Miss O'Donnell, was attired in cream serge trimmed with satin and guipure lace. Miss S. O'Donnell wore a pretty dress of heliotrope trimmed with satin beautifully tucked. Miss McConnell wore a white pique costume. Each wore picture hats and carried shower boquots. Tne gift of the bride to the bridegroom was a gold band ring, and the bridegroom to the bride a handsome gold watch and chain. The bridesmaids wore gold brooches, the gifts of the bridegroom. The happy couple left the church amid showers of rice and proceeded to the residence of Mr T. O’Donnell, where a sumptuous wedding breakfast was partaken of. The happy couple left by tho evening train for Hokitika, where they will spend their honeymoon. The presents were both numerous and costly.
