GREY COUNTY COUNCIL.

The Council resumed its sitting yesterday going into committee of finance. On the Council resuming their ordinary business, application was ordered to be made for a vote towards the construction of ft footbridge at Nelson Creek.

Mo3srs Higgins, M. Cain and B. Gough were appointed inspsctors to see thit the bye-laws in referenoo to tyres were properly carried out,

It was resolved to make an application to Government for a sum of £(53 as a supplementary vote for the 14-Mile Bluff Boad.

It was also deoided to ask Government to expend all votes on the estimates for the Waipuna road forthwith, and that the work be done undar Government or County supervision. The Chairman, Ors Larkin, Hirgreaves and M'Oarthy were appointed to arrange with Mr Glaughesy in reference to carrying on the Blackball ferry for the next twelve months.
