At a luncheon Barton referring to the New Hebrides, said the chief of the disputes was the question of land ownership upon which the Anglo-French agreement

Turner referring to the Old Age Pensions said about fifteen thousand persons have to be provided for at a cost of £300,000 annually. The State was unable to spent the amount. Next session a bill would make pensions more limited and the administration stricter.
