London, February 2. At the wool sales there was spirited competition, and good starts of all prices tended in sellers favor. Up to date 202,171 bales were catalogued and 125,039 sold.
Mutton—Crossbred wethers and maiden ewes, Canterbury, 4:[d; Dunedin, 4|. North Island lamb. River Plate, and beef are unchanged. The tallow stocks are 20,285 casks. The imports last month were 3,798, deliveries 6,538.
