“THAT PROCLAMATION.”

(To the Editor.) Sir, — I quite agree with every word written in the Grey Diver Argus. It was absurd to sec an insignilicent figure reading the Proclamation. The Council did undoubtedly wrong, and should have selected Pomposity in a flowing white waistcoat with several letters of the alphabet annexed, to read the precious document. It would then have been reported this morning as a “graun eccremoony.” Youfs etc., “Nothing Like Cheek.”
