The Board met at Hokitika on Wednesday. Present: The Cliiel Lomniissioncr, Messrs Cunnning, Lung and Mathcson. The following applications of interest to this district were dealt with M. M‘Alpine (T. IV. Beare), to purchase two acres of rural land in Otira S.D. —Adjourned for one month for production of agreement between Midland Hail way Company and applicant. The following applications were adjourned for valuation : v J Kelly, to select 20 acres of rural land in Block I Otira S.D.. being run Xo 2(X) for lease in perpetuity. C. Hondo, (Mr Duncan) to select 130 acres of rural land in Block 11, Poerua S. D., being run Xo 302 for lease in perpetuity. J. Ferguson (W. Duncan) to select run Xo 3(57, Poerua S. D., for occupation with right of purchase. P. J. Haddock (W. Duncan), to select 300 acres of rural land in Block I, Poerua S. D„ being run Xo 299 for occupation with right of purchase. J. Adamson, to select 125 acres of rural land in Block 11, Poerua S.D., being run X T o 295 for lease in perpetuity.

G. S. Kobertson (W. Duncan) to select 197 acres, 3 roods, 30 perches of rural land in Block 11, Poerua S.D., being section 152 of lease in perpetuity. C- A. Robertson, (W. Duncan) to select 172 acres, 3 roods, 11 perches of rural land in Block 11, Poerua S.D., for lease in perpetuity. M. Adamson (T. W. Beare) to select 193 acres of rural land in Block I Poerua S.D. being run Xo 305 for occupation with right of purchase.
