RIOT AT THURSDAY ISLAND.

Brisbane, This Day. A riot of South Sea Islanders .and Manila men occurred at Thursday Island. The former attacked the latter with sticks and stones. It is reported that one of the South Sea Islanders was killed. Several Islanders afterwards wrecked a jeweller's shop. The military are read}' in case of a further outbreak.
